BANMI meeting today

The Basketball Association of the Northern Mariana Islands Commissioner Ray B. Lizama would like to inform all league president that there will be a meeting with Oceania Development Officer Stuart Manwaring today at the Ada Gym Conference at 12:00 p.m.
The purpose of this meeting is to discuss or formulate an action plan for Mr. Manwaring’s next visit in October. Mr. Manwaring will go over some of the new rules and its implementation. Please be on time.
Also, the BANMI Board of Governors and officers have appointed Juan V. Diaz as league president for BANMI 2000-2001 Inter-Commercial Basketball League (ICBL). A former vice-president of the Island-Wide Men’s Basketball League, Mr. Diaz is ready to take on his new role and task. Mr. Lizama is very confident in Mr. Diaz’s ability to organize and administer his duties.
Marianas Pacific Distributors (MARPAC) will be the major sponsor for the BANMI-ICBL which is slated to kick off on Sept. 7, 2000.
