New darters group formed

Marianas Association of Darters (MAD), Inc. was formed as a nonprofit organization to promote the sports of dart and friendship among its members and organize, manage and conduct tournaments.
Elected during the general membership meeting held July 21, 2000 were Isaac Ngirbedul, president; Don Kim, vice president; Rene Atienza, secretary; Sue Kim, treasurer; Ed Cabrera, Joy Silva, Carmen Sablan, Jennifer San Nicolas, George Sablan, Noel Montalbo, Jun Lambon, Angel Esmeralda, Efren Abana, and Gilbert Aquino, board of directors; and Paul Cielo, adviser.
The first inaugural tournament named First Mad Dart League is slated from August to November this year. Trophies and guaranteed cash prizes will be given away to Divisions A, B, C and ladies winners.
Tournament entry forms can be picked up at The Field, Corner Pocket, Saipan Dai-Ichi Hotel, Don’s Sports Bar, Len’s 1&2, Town & Country Restaurant and Fun Spots Casino across CK post office.
Signed up forms can be submitted to Town & Country Restaurant c/o Angel Esmeralda & Don’s Sports Bar c/o Sue Kim.
