Mettao is RGA’s June ace

After shooting a net 68 and losing to Tony Satur, Joe Mettao came back two weeks later with a net score of 66 to set the qualifying score for the RGA’s June Ace of the Month.
This time his score stood the challenge and Joe won the June Ace of the Month last Saturday at Laolao’s East Course.

The lowest score for the game went to Satur with a net score of 67 on 5 handicap. Just one stroke behind is Sonny Flores, with a net score of 68 on 10 handicap. Flores’ game has recently taken a turn for the better.

Also in the company of winners is Alvin Hofschneider, who has twice won third place in four attempts. Moving his game up a couple of notches, Hofschneider shot a net score of 70 on 21 handicap to win third place.

The closest to the pin winners went to senior players Joe Wabol and Ben Norita.
