The Clueless Squad
Politicians are known for their specialty of killing business opportunities or prescribing unworkable and senseless political answers to major economic problems. This assessment is generally shared by investors throughout Pacific Island countries who had to endure statutory demands of the ill-equipped “few”.
Such clueless bunch is in abundance right here in our wobbly paradise.
No wonder the Clueless Squad who massage their puffy ego, basking in their vacuous claims of “leadership”, have either missed or shut down every window of opportunity to our detriment.
This malignant attitudinal adolescency eventually percolates to the grassroots level.
It is at this juncture where neglect of the political elite (riddled with arrogance) is translated into joblessness and hopelessness.
I’ve quietly gone soul-searching to understand where things may have gone wrong not that I’m on a fault-finding mission, but the magnitude of such neglect so prompted telling it like it is. Let’s compare notes in what I have found out. They are:
• Most, if not, all have started out their lofty career in government; therefore, their vision (if they have any) is limited to everything that is government!
• Most have never run at least a mom and pop store so they can benefit from real management experience as they attempt to deal with the needs of the business community.
• Most do not read their materials, muchless, peruse thick research materials on pertinent issues; therefore, it’s difficult digesting how to dispose of them in educated fashion.
• Most are too engrossed in their teeny cubicles of greed and power as to constantly display arrogance by trashing expert views.
• Most have made promises more than we can remember, but they promise to play-up their arrogance against grassroots problems and needs, and they did in royal fashion too.
• If most do not read their materials, logically they can’t form a mind of their own, thus they turn to an alleged legislator (counsel) for answers. Did we ever vote for an alleged legislator?
I have no intention of being mean spirited, but enough is enough, and it’s about time that we begin electing fully-rounded policy makers.
You the voters are part of this equation. Pitch-in with proactivity, not passivity, and get people who understand issues with vision and compassion in what I term “People’s Issues”. It’s in the palm of your hands.

If justice is for all, then this assertion seems more a political rhetoric than it is reality. Someday soon I’d like to know from one government attorney, a law enforcement officer and one other government official whatever happened to, for lack of an appropriate term, Case Alphabetical List.
If others have been audited, prosecuted, and sentenced, it boggles the mind why one individual has been spared the same rigorous legal scrutiny. The issue was quickly salvaged by a legal eagle as the law enforcement officer turned his head the other way. Adding salt to injury, the one last vestiges of hope in the equal application of law, kept mum up until now.
Yet, this new “triad” would have taken anybody else to the hilt where prosecution is warranted. But then it must be an action preceded by instructions from some powerful politician. This has eroded trust in the prosecution of alleged criminal cases. No wonder the general public could only keep its fingers crossed that some semblance of justice descends in these isles. It’s scary, believe you, me!
