19-year-old rapes minor

Chief Criminal Prosecutor Kevin Lynch has filed one count of sexual abuse of a child against Derick San Nicolas, 19 for allegedly raping a minor.

Superior Court Judge Edward Manibusan has set a $50,000 cash bail for the temporary release of the accused.

Police arrested Mr. San Nicolas Friday after a complaint was filed with the Department of Public Safety about the alleged rape of a minor.

Preliminary investigation showed that the suspect picked up the victim, a 14-year-old girl, at her house and brought her to his residence in Papago where the rape allegedly occurred.

Man held up in tourism district

Two unidentified men held up Dwight Deleon Guerrero, 25, last Saturday at around 6:00 p.m. as he was about to enter Happy Market in Garapan.

According to DPS Information Office Rose Ada, Mr. Deleon Guerrero was walking toward Happy Market when two men immediately accosted him, pinned him down and ran away with his wallet containing $1,350 cash and some identification cards. The money was part of his winning from poker and salary.

One of the suspects was described as sporting a curly hair while the other one was clean cut. Both were dark skinned.
