Selection for Athlete of the Year underway

The CNMI’s sports association is to select next month the Athlete of Year from the list of individuals selected as athletes of the month. According to organizers, the winner for the month of December will also be known in January.

Medalist of the recent SPG:
Men’s slow pitch softball team coached by Julian Kodep won the only team gold medal for the NMI. The team was made up of Tony Mareham, Tony Lizama, Peter Camacho, Raython Rdiall, Nick Leon Guerrero, Juan Diaz, Jerry Ayuyu, Eric Kani, Ed Cepeda, Bradley Ngewakl, Bill Benavente, Bart Jackson and Winsor Ngiraibiochel
