Barny’s moves to Susupe for better service

Barny’s Pizza and Pasta House is moving and growing. With the relocation to Susupe just across Grand Hotel on Beach Road, the restaurant famous for its homemade pizza and pasta is right in the center of Saipan’s growing commercial district.

Jimmy Ham, one of the brains of the restaurant’s management team, says the transfer to a better location opens the door for better service to its loyal customers who continue to grow in the past few months.

“We have transferred to a new and much better location to provide better service to our customers,” quips the amiable restaurateur.

Since its opening in its old site in Chinatown, Barny’s has etched a niche in the local restaurant business with its menu that, aside from satisfying hunger of island residents for best-tasting pizza and pasta, also provide a wide array of both international and local dishes for anybody’s discriminating taste.

Barny’s offers 20 kinds of pizza at a very affordable price which the management intends to maintain despite the increasing cost of living on the island so that customers are assured not just of quality food, but also of excellent service.

Customers, moreover, are given choices on the size of their pizza and the kind of toppings they want. The pasta, each of which is served with garlic bread or salad, are varied, from meatsauce to lasagna, from Pacific to Alfredo. Calzone is another specialty of Barny’s.

Of course, dining in Barny’s does not end with pizza and pasta as the restaurant serves complete meal, like meat, fish, seafood, salad, soup and desserts.

Beer is also available, which is a good match for pizza or any of the chasers in the menu.

So when you go to Barny’s, it will be a one-of-a-kind dining experience comparable to the best restaurants in the world.

Mr. Ham says the new, spacious site ushers “better service, a new outlook” for dining on Saipan — another ace for a restaurant that always aims for what is best for its customers.

As for future plans, Barny’s is thinking ahead. “At this time, we are concentrating on our first and only restaurant that will best serve the needs of our customers. If the economy turns around in the coming months, perhaps we will open another branch,” says Mr. Ham.
