There were just so many people who love Phil Litulumar that they all came to the fundraising concert held at the American Memorial Park last Friday and Saturday. As you all know, Phil is in a hospital in Honolulu recovering from a car accident last Oct. 10, 1999 in As Matuis.

Among those who performed last week were Palapala Boys, Olomwaay Band, Family Band, Kevin Atalig, Kelvin Duenas, Boys 2 Mix and Girls 2 Mix, Talabo (Stick Dancers), and Manielos.

According to Cinta Kaipat, one of the concert organizers, the money raised will make sure that Phil gets the therapy he needs.

Any donation to Phil may be sent through Gus and Cinta Kaipat. They can be reached at 236-7246.

On Nov. 27, 1999, Pacific Gardenia will hold another benefit concert for Phil where guests will have the chance to enjoy listening to more than a dozen groups for $15.

Phil worked part time as a bouncer at Pacific Gardenia for 12 years while also employed at the Division of Customs.
