Inos to address SHRM meeting

The Commonwealth’s chapter of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), the CNMI’s professional personnel organization, will be holding its monthly membership meeting this Thursday, September 23, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel with Education Commissioner as guest speaker.

Inos will discuss the Commonwealth’s School-to-Work program and what the Society and local private businesses can do to make the program succeed.

This is an excellent opportunity for business owners, managers and human resource staff to learn more about the Public School System’s program to assist graduates in joining the workforce. The meeting will also explore ways how the SHRM and the local business community can assist the school system in this effort.

Chapter meetings are not limited to members. Prospective members and companies or individuals interested in the discussion topic are invited to attend. This week’s luncheon meeting will be held at the Giovanni’s Restaurant at 11:30 am. The cost for the luncheon is $15.00 for members and $20.00 for non-members.

Please call Rheta or Liz at the Hyatt Regency Human Resource Office at telephone number 234-1234 or fax number 233-0182 for reservation.
