ANNOUNCEMENT
Sen. Morgen at SHRM
weekly luncheon
The Commonwealth’s chapter of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) will be holding its monthly membership meeting this Thursday, Aug. 12th, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel with Sen. Juan Tenorio as guest speaker.
Tenorio, chair of the Senate Resources Development and Program Committee, will discuss Senate Bill 11-l134, or the proposed Commonwealth Mandatory Health Care Act.
If passed, the bill will require employers to provide medical insurance for all employees within the Commonwealth.
This is an excellent opportunity for business owners, managers and human resource staff to learn more about the proposal and its potential effect on their organizations.
Chapter membership meetings are not limited to members. Prospective members and companies or individuals interested in the discussion topic are invited to attend. This week’s luncheon meeting will be held at the Giovanni’s Restaurant at the Hyatt at 11:30 am. The cost for the luncheon is $15.00 for members and $20.00 for non-members.
For reservation, please call Rheta or Liz at the Hyatt Regency Human Resource Office with phone numbers 234-1234 and fax number 233-0182.
