ANNOUNCEMENT
Bluegrass banjo at the museum
On Sunday, Aug. 8th, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Northern Mariana Islands Museum of History and Culture across the Sugar King Park in Garapan, bluegrass banjos will ring out and American folk songs will be performed by Paul Oberg, Dan Hocking and Lisa Hacskaylo.
Different styles of banjo picking will be demonstrated and the performers will do their best to set your feet a-tapping with some well known tunes.
Limited seats are available but the music will make a fine background while touring the exhibits at the museum.
Anyone who plays the banjo or folk guitar is welcome to bring their instruments and join the fun.
The monthly salons are open to the public and admission is free to sponsoring members of the Friends of the Arts and Friends of the Museum.
