The Emergency Management Office would like to inform the public that the weak circulation located west of the Marianas continues to produce and generate cloudiness and shower activity across the area, with period of heavy showers expected. Residents and mariners can expect cloudy skies with occasional heavy showers and thunderstorms. Moderate to gusty south to southeast winds will continue to dominate the area until Wednesday.

EMO said the small advisory remains in effect for the Marianas.

Due to heavy rainshowers and few thunderstorms, EMO advises motorists to slow down and exercise caution while driving. People living in low-lying areas prone to flooding are also advised to take precautionary measures.
