Another playground from IT&E
IT&E Overseas, Inc., on Friday held a dedication for its newest playground constructed for the children of Saipan and the CNMI. This playground is located at the Kagman Municipal Park.
The Kagman Playground is the fourth playground donated by IT&E in a program initiated in 1996 to provide quality playgrounds for the children of the Northern Marianas.
Other playgrounds provided by IT&E are the Tronkon Dauk Playground at the Civic Center Beach Park, the Afetna Beach Park Playground in San Antonio and the PauPau Beach Park Playground in San Roque.
It was through the combined efforts of IT&E and the Department of Parks and Recreation that these playgrounds have become a reality for the children of Saipan. IT&E purchased the equipment, and the Department of Parks and Recreation coordinated and completed construction of the playground.

Camp Internet
GTE Pacifica is proud to be this year’s sponsor of Camp Internet offered at the Joeten-Kiyu Public Library.
Students from 3rd grade and up are invited to sign up for 10 hours of computer literacy instruction in a weekly course. The first session begins on June 14 and session are available in the morning and afternoon.
Each student will get individualized attention and will learn computer skills in internet research, desktop publishing, multimedia presentations and have lots of fun while they are learning it.
Because of GTE’s sponsorship, the sign-up cost per student is only $25.00.

MIFICPA Induction
Induction of new set of officers of the Marianas Institute of Filipino CPAs will be held on June 11, 1999, 7:00 p.m. at Saipan Diamond Hotel.
Philippine Senator Gregorio Honasan will be the guest of honor and speaker.
Tickets for the event are sold for $25, which includes dinner buffet and the chance to win exciting door prizes.
The search for Miss MIFICPA will also be held during the affair.
All Filipino accountants working in the CNMI are encouraged to join this event.
