Memorial Day on Monday
The 1999 Memorial Day Committee and the Division of Veterans Affairs, Department of Community and Cultural Affairs is pleased to inform and invite all veterans, their spouses and the families of those departed veterans, the local Marine Scouts and the US Armed Forces Veterans Association that we will be celebrating Memorial Day on Monday, May 31, 1999.
The Memorial Day Ceremony in honor of our veterans will be held at the CNMI Veterans Memorial Park across Marianas High School.
The ceremony will commence at exactly 9:00 a.m. The general public is invited. Please come and join us celebrate this special occasion.

Interagency watershed meeting
The Saipan and Northern Islands Soil and Water Conservation District would like to inform the general public that there will be a district meeting on June 2 at 2:00 p.m. at the Natural Resources Conservation Service Office in Garapan and Saipan interagency watershed meeting on June 9 at 9:30 p.m. at the Department of Public Works.

NMIA meeting
The United NMI Association wishes to announce that there will be a membership meeting at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 12, at the Carolinian Utt.
The purpose of this meeting is to elect officers and board members. A potluck barbecue will follow immediately after the elections. All organization members and friends, all past and present Northern Islanders and any other interested persons are invited to attend.
