Arts Council seeks performers

The Commonwealth Council for Arts and Culture will be hosting the Marianas Traditional Dance Festival on June 12 from 10 AM to 6 PM at Kilili Beach Park.

The festival, sponsored by the Marianas Visitors Authority and Marpac-Budweiser as part of the tourism office’s Visit the Marianas ’99 campaign activities, will serve to highlight the best of traditional Chamorro and Carolinian dance.

The CCAC is seeking interested local performers to register. Students are also encouraged to participate. All groups will receive honorariums for their performances which will be determined on their registration.

Registration forms are available at the Arts Council Office in Capitol Hill. The deadline for submission in on Friday, May 28.
