One armed robbery and two pedestrian accidents were reported over the weekend.

Two men wearing mask surprised the cashier of the Gold Coast 2 (a poker game center) in Garapan last Saturday morning.

According to the female cashier, both threatened her with a knife, grabbed the victim and covered her face. Her hands were later tied using the telephone cord and was locked inside the rest room.

The two robbers then walked away with over $3,000 cash from Gold Coast.

Department of Public Safety spokesperson Rose Ada said police officers are following leads to identify the thieves.

Two separate auto pedestrian accidents happened at Middle Road involving Chinese nationals who sustained lacerations and contusions.

Vehicle driver Roy Sauceda was heading north using the outer lane when he heard of a sudden impact. He pulled over near the Trans America hardware and saw Meilan Cei, who suffered extensive leg injuries.

DPS medical personnel rushed to the site and transported Cei to the Commonwealth Health Center for further treatment.

Yong Zi Piao sustained head contusion and laceration after he was hit by a pick-up van Sunday evening in Garapan.

Driver Rainier Ignacio tried to avoid hitting Piao when he saw him running from east using an unmarked pedestrian crossways.
