7, including 2 from Saipan, get Ifit scholarships

HAGATNA, Guam—Bank of Guam announced yesterday the seven winners of the 2017 Bank of Guam Ifit Scholarship, which consists of a $2,000 grant and a paid summer internship.

The seven include two from Saipan: Arron Cushing of Mt. Carmel School, who will go on to Gonzaga University; and Nathaniel Snodgrass, also of Mt. Carmel School, who plans to go on to the Northern Marianas College.

The other Bank of Guam Ifit scholars are Julianne C. Ballon of Okkodo High School (Guam), Byung Woon Ko, Xavier High School (Chuuk), Bo Yung “Allen” Kong of Harvest Christian Academy (Guam), Natasha Loochaz of the Yap Catholic High School (Yap), and Francis Yarofalyango of Yap Catholic High School (Yap).
