6JMS Mafia II clinches B Division title

The top-ranked 6JMS Mafia II lived up to high expectations after crushing the underdog 6JMS Thunder Dart Impact, 8-1, in the B Division finals of the Saipan Electronic Darts Association Bud Light Cup last Tuesday.
The 6JMS Mafia II, which ruled the elimination round with its 269-109 win-loss record, capped its domination in the division after routing the fifth-ranked 6JMS Thunder Dart Impact in the title match. Udas Camacho, Derick Ayuyu, Richard Santos, Kulling Villagomez, Ray Cepeda, Rose Mary Yamada, and Nicole Robert played for the champion team, while the runner-up squad has Phil Fejeran, Rod Pergil, June Orencia, Ton Reyes, Raymond Velasco, and Edwin Liclican as members.
Meanwhile, the Masters A Division is down to four teams. The 6JMS Mafia and Amari’s Nakayoshi were scheduled to clash for the first finals berth last night, while the other semis pairing featured the 6JMS Pythons and the 6JMS Proofers 151. The division finals will be played on Aug. 29.
In the A Division, four teams are vying for the last two quarterfinal berths. 6JMS Terminators will take on 6JMS Mafia I, while Jonny’s Roil Soil will duel Naked Fish Ridin’ Darrty on Aug. 27 for the slots to the Round of 8 where 6JMS Strikers, 6JMS Proofers, Amari’s Gunners, 6JMS Predators, 6JMS Scorpions, and Drunken Warriors have already qualified.
In the C Division, the 6JMS Bulldogs will battle Jonny’s Bull Hitters with the winner challenging the Dart Vaders on Aug. 29.
