One of the most anticipated modeling events in the CNMI will be held this September.

According to event coordinator Sharmaine Casquero, the 2014 edition of the Marianas Next Top Model will return for its fifth year next month and it would be non-competitive.

The event is being run by the Northern Marianas Association of Stars in the Pacific and will be held Sept. 6, at the Pedro P. Tenorio Multi-Purpose Center in Susupe starting at 6pm.

Casquero said the event will be a non-stop musical and variety show featuring the brightest stars of Uncle Ben’s Studio, the Amazing Paper Dolls Diva, Garesa NMI 2014, and Zumbathon.

Casquero said event will also showcase today’s trends in clothing, hairstyle, and artistic expression.

“This will help shape the future in terms of colors, stunning hairstyles, and the need for the latest trends in haircut and clothing industry,” she said.

Uncle Ben Studio’s Charry De Guzman will produce the program, to coincide with the studio’s 10th anniversary, while Casquero will direct and choreograph the event.

Last year’s Marianas Next Top Model hailed two winners out of 24 candidates. It took place at the Hard Rock Café in Garapan.
