$5K bail set for man in assault case

The Superior Court has imposed a $5,000 cash bail on a man who allegedly punched another man after finding him in his girlfriend’s bedroom.

Superior Court Associate Judge Wesley Bogdan imposed a $5,000 cash bail on Vincent Q. Terlaje for a pushing and punching another man at an apartment in Koblerville last Dec. 3, 2020.

Bogdan remanded Terlaje to the custody of the Department of Corrections. The defendant was ordered to return to court on Jan. 12 at 9am for his arraignment.

Terlaje, who was charged with disturbing the peace, and assault and battery, was represented by the Public Defender’s Office while assistant attorney general Chester Hinds appeared for the government.
