40-hour workweek

The Fitial/Inos administration has good news. They will try to restore the 40-hour workweek now that election is coming up. Just how long will the 40-hour workweek last? Will it just be until election day or until the day after election day? Maybe the Fitial/Inos administration will also start paying employer contributions to the Retirement Fund until election is over. Maybe they will lower CUC rates for now until the people vote. Maybe Fitial will stop calling the people of Tinian and Rota stupid until the election is over.

Those who are running under Fitial’s GOP share the same values as Fitial. They agree so much with his style of governance that they decided to run under his party. This just shows how much they support Fitial. Are they leaders or followers of Fitial? They are followers, not leaders. The incumbents who are running have had three years to prove that they are worth re-electing. That’s a term and a half of doing nothing. Do not elect any incumbents unless they have worked hard to improve the CNMI.
