4 TMS students place in NJSDA

Tanapag Middle School took part in last month’s National Junior Speech and Debate Association competition at the Dandan Middle School.

The school sent five of its students in the competition and three placed in their respective categories.

“This is the first year that Tanapag has joined, and the second competition of the year that we have competed in. In the first competition, we had four competitors and all four placed in their divisions.

In the last competition held Jan. 23 at DMS, Tanapag Middle School students Maui Johnson, Froilan Camacho, and Magdalen Santos placed in their categories.

Johnson placed first in Poetry and 4th in Humorous Interpretation; Camacho placed third in Humorous Interpretation; and Magdalen Santos placed fifth in Humorous Interpretation.
