4.6-magnitude earthquake in Agrihan

A 4.6-magnitude earthquake hit just a few kilometers off the northern coast of Agrihan last Wednesday, according to the CNMI Department of Homeland Security.

The report stated that the earthquake occurred at 6:51am last Wednesday 51 kilometers northeast of Agrihan.

There were no reports of injuries or damage to infrastructure and no tsunami warnings or advisories were issued by the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center.

The last earthquake reported in the Northern Islands was back in April.
