Thirty-four additional individuals have been confirmed positive for COVID-19, bringing the CNMI total to 10,985 cases since March 28, 2020.

Of the 34 cases identified on March 22, 2022, two were identified on Tinian and six on Rota. The vaccination statuses of the 34 cases are pending verification.

As of March 23, 2022, there were seven individuals hospitalized as a result of COVID-19.

Of the 10,985 total cases that have been identified in the CNMI, there have already been 10,811 recoveries; 143 active cases; and 31 COVID-19-related deaths. Of the total, 10,205 were identified via community testing and 780 via travel testing.

CHCC said in a news release Wednesday night that some duplicates were deleted and that Rota recorded 196 cases from March 2 to March 22, 2022.

“Moving forward, COVID-19 updates will be reported weekly,” it said.
