3 join Tribune’s editorial team
The Saipan Tribune editorial team recently welcomed three new members: Erwin Encinares, Bea Cabrera, and Kimberly Bautista.
Encinares has been a part of the Saipan Tribune team since August 2016. Encinares was born in the Commonwealth and has a degree in hotel and restaurant management.
Encinares has covered community related beats and is currently covering government beats like the Executive Branch, Governor’s Office, legislature, federal affairs, and casino commissions. Encinares can be reached at erwin_encinares@saipantribune.com or at 235-8747/6397/2769 Ext. 136.
Bea Cabrera, who has a communications degree, is the newest member of the Saipan Tribune team and just migrated to the Commonwealth five month ago. Cabrera covers the Marianas Visitors Authority, the Commonwealth Utilities Corp., the Hotel Association of the Northern Mariana Islands, the Board of Education, the Public School System, and the Commonwealth Healthcare Corp., and all businesses. Kimberly Bautista, the youngest of the editorial staff, is the reporter assigned to community events, the Saipan Mayor’s Office, environmental agencies, the foreign consulates, and the Joeten Kiyu Public Library.
