People may often hear the expression “Follow your heart” but rarely hear “Safeguard your heart.” The latter phrase will be heard many times this weekend during the 2012 “Safeguard Your Heart!” District Convention of Jehovah’s Witnesses. The convention is scheduled to begin Friday morning at the Marianas High School Gymnasium.

The convention will highlight Biblical references to the heart. Program parts will also encourage self-scrutiny and reflection, amounting to a three-day examination of one’s own figurative heart. Attendees will see how protecting the figurative heart can help them to make wise decisions, improve family life, strengthen their personal relationship with God, and find true happiness.

Jehovah’s Witnesses invite everyone to attend and learn more about these topics. The program sessions begin at 9:20am on all three days of the convention. Admission is free. Conventions of Jehovah’s Witnesses are supported entirely by voluntary donations.
