PDM Promoters haul 1,060 lbs of garbage

PDM Promoters Inc. continued their unrelenting dedication to beautifying Saipan’s central tourist district last Saturday by collecting 1,060 lbs of garbage.

Eight employees of Kinpachi Restaurant and 16 members of the Saipan Awaodori Team came together to remove the brush and debris along Paseo de Marianas and Coral Tree Avenue.
The non-profit group’s coordinator, Sonia Siwa, shared that the trash collected were composed mostly of beer bottles, cigarette butts, Styrofoam cups, plates and aluminum cans.

The group’s monthly cleanup normally collects close to or more than 1,000 lbs of trash. Last month, the group collected 860 lbs of trash.
