2023 Budweiser BASA league start this Sunday

Softball fever is back just in time for Spring as the Budweiser Belau Amateur Softball Association Annual Master’s and Women’s Softball League makes its comeback for the 2023 season this Sunday, March 5.
The games will be held every Sunday at the DanDan Softball Field.
Games are from 9am to 3pm and will have a total of 11 men’s teams and five women’s teams vying for softball glory.

The five women’s teams vying for the championship are the Lady Blue Jays, Hotshots, Lady Legals, Lady Sufa, and BDE.
In the men’s master’s league, the teams are Tokahao, Hagu Lamun, Asahi, Peleliu, Ngaraard Red Men, Aimeliik 1 Time, Man Amigos, Momma Charo, Sufa, and Wazzup.
Last season, a total of 16 teams consisting of six women’s and 10 men’s master’s teams joined the 2022 Budweiser BASA league. The Queens of Diamonds won the women’s division championship, while Tokahao won the men’s division title.
