2014 Docomo Golf Classic continues to reel in sponsors
Three more companies threw in their support to the 5th Docomo Pacific Golf Classic, which fires off at 7am this coming Saturday, Aug. 30, at the Laolao Bay Golf & Resort in Kagman III.

Delta Airlines area manager Chris Concepcion presented a roundtrip ticket to the United States mainland as one of the raffle prizes, while Joeten Motors general manager Matt Deets and Triple J Motors president Jay Jones donated a 2014 Ford Fiesta and 2015 Hyundai Elantra as hole-in-one prizes, respectively.
Bank of Hawaii and Pacifica Insurance are the other companies that donated hole-in-one cash prizes.
Tournament organizers have yet to determine which holes both cars and cash will be assigned.
First Hawaiian Bank, DFS Saipan Ltd., and the Tan Siu Lin Foundation are the major sponsors of the event that is also being supported by Calvo’s Select Care, Marianas Visitors Authority, Fiesta Resort & Spa Saipan, MarPac, Pacific Islands Club, PTC, Hyatt Regency Saipan, Marianas Management Corp., Dickerson & Quinn, Kautz Glass, Aqua Resort Club, and Island Training Solutions.
Sorenson Media Group, Marianas Variety, and Saipan Tribune remain as the media partners.
Entry fee for the event is $85 that includes the cart and green fees. Snacks and refreshments will be offered in the morning, while the awards banquet will follow after the tournament.
Entry forms are available at the Docomo Pacific store along Middle Road in Gualo Rai. Entry fees are accepted at Docomo Pacific.
