Two men were arrested over the weekend for allegedly committing various offenses in Koblerville and Kagman.

Abdon Romolor Teregeyo, 38, was arrested for assault with a dangerous weapon, assault, and disturbing the peace.

Ricardo San Nicolas Muna, 58, was arrested for disturbing the peace.

Bail was set at $7,500 cash for Teregeyo and $1,000 cash for Muna.

Police detective Vincent A. Igisaiar stated in his report that two police officers responded Thursday afternoon to a residence in Koblerville where a caller reported that Teregeyo had threatened to assault family members with a machete.

Police officers learned that Teregeyo became upset after his niece told him not to touch the food intended for her ailing grandmother.

Teregeyo allegedly grabbed a machete and later a butcher knife and threatened to kill his niece, his sister, and other family members.

According to the mother, she is tired of her son threatening to kill all of them. She also stated that her son would damage items in the house then expect to be paid for it.

In Muna’s case, police detective Daniel T. Kintol stated in his report that a 17-year-old girl sought police’s assistance after the defendant allegedly watched her through an opening in the door while she was showering.

The girl told police she is scared and that Muña did the same thing last month.
