2 companies partner up with TTT for ticket sales
Gearing up for the Tasi to Table Inc. and Saipan Fisherman Association’s “Reel in the Holidays” raffle, two companies have offered help in the distribution of ticket sales for the event on Dec. 12, 2020.
Tasi to Table Inc., the non-profit organization, has teamed up with 4Ever CNMI in San Jose and Fishing Tackle & Sporting in Susupe to sell tickets that offer valuable prizes during the raffle that will take place at the Smiling Cover Marina.
The tickets are being sold for $100 each for the “Reel in the Holidays” raffle. With this ticket, participants will be able to win the grand prize, a 16-foot Morning Star boat package that is sponsored by Coral Reed Marine Center Guam, Mercury Marine, and Morning Star Boats. The Morning Star 16-foot boat comes with a 60 Command Thrust 4-Stroke engine, trailer, a VHF handheld radio, four life jackets, and an emergency flare set.
According to Wayne Pangelinan, TTT vice president, the SFA is considering holding its mahi-mahi derby on the day of the raffle. As of Oct. 21, there was no word yet whether they will push through with this, to coincide with the raffle on Dec. 12.
Last March, SFA announced the cancellation of the annual Mahi Mahi Fishing Derby, which was scheduled for March 28, 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The sponsors for the “Reel in the Holidays” event are the Coral Reef Marine Center Guam, Morning Star Boats, Mercury Marine Outboard, Fishing Tackle and Sporting Goods, Marpac, IT&E, Mobil Oil Marianas, Roil Soil Clothing, and 4Ever CNMI!
