10 nominated for Executive of the Year plum
Guam Business Magazine announced Monday the nominees for the 2015 Guam Business Magazine Executive of the Year. The annual Executive of the Year award program recognizes executives who have made outstanding contributions to the business communities of Micronesia and who have raised the bar in their fields.
The nominees are:
• Benson Au-Yeung, president, Benz Signs & Supplies, and general manager, Paradise Awning
• Lynnwood S. Baker, president and general manager, Baker International Inc., which does business as J.L. Baker & Sons
• Joseph L. Cruz, president and CEO, Cabras Marine Corp.
• Andrew M. Gayle Jr., chief operating officer, GTA
• Lars F. Hellmont, co-owner, Fujita Property Guam Inc., and co-founder, SN Entities
• Jeffrey B. Jones, president and chief operating officer, Triple J Enterprises Inc.
• Angel Mendoza, president and general manager, DKSH Micronesia
• Mark J. Sablan, vice president – business development, South Pacific Petroleum Corp.
• John Sage, vice president and general manager, Watts Constructors LLC
• Ryan F. Torres, vice president and store manager, Macy’s Guam
The winner will be revealed at the Executive of the Year award gala on Jan. 23 at the Hyatt Regency Guam, together with the release of the January-February 2016 issue of Guam Business Magazine, which will feature a commissioned portrait of the winner on the cover.

(2003); David M. Sablan of the Century Group of Companies (2005); Jerry Tan of Tan Holdings Inc. (2009); George Chiu of Tan Holdings (2013); and Norman T. Tenorio of Joeten Enterprises Inc., Pacifica Insurance Underwriters Inc., Tropical Instant Press Inc., Saipan Shipping Co. and Advance Carrier (2014).
