A total of 10 students graduated from the Da’ok Academy last week at the Pacific Islands Club’s Charley’s Cabaret, with Donovan Y. Kapileo leading the pack last June 13.

Kapileo was recognized with this year’s overall achievement award, which signifies a student’s excellent academic performance. He also received at least two certificates of achievements in other subjects.

“Finally done,” Kapileo said. “I don’t know what to say, I was not expecting this award.”

Kapileo wishes to join the U.S. Air Force.

Kapileo originally attended Kagman High School and has been at Da’ok Academy for a year.

He completed his high school requirements with Principal Award recipient Wilfredo Francisco Jr.; Governor’s Leadership Award recipient Franklin DLS Lizama; Shark Award recipient Trygve Palacios; Efrain P. Camacho; Moesha Jeanel C. Kaipat; Mark Hadley Manahane; Keith Casey Manuel; Francisco Olopai; Vincent Sallem Robert; Gregory Manuel Dela Rosa Sablan Jr.; Rush B. Tatuwo, and Mika R. Tokyo.
