Aquiningoc’s net 67 is score to beat in RGA April Ace

Refaluwasch Golf Association will hold its April Ace of the Month Tournament this Saturday, April 15, at the Laolao Bay Golf Resort east course.

Alex Aquiningoc’s qualifying score of net 67 is the number to beat in this weekend’s fun under the sun.

RGA president Jess Wabol said slots for 16 members in a first-come first-serve basis will be available this Saturday. Check-in time is 11am with a 12pm tee time start. Green fee for the April Ace of the Month is $35.

Aquiningoc actually finished tied with Tony Satur in the qualifier held last April 2, but he edged the NMASA Sports Hall of Fame inductee in a scorecard tiebreak based on the front nine net score, 31.5-32.5. It’s the second time Aquiningoc established the score to beat, as he also turned the trick earlier in the year.
