The cadets at Kagman High started collecting the goods since November to give to the Karidat Social Services, the premier social service arm in the CNMI, for needy families on Saipan. KHS JROTC was able to collect over $300 worth of food items. With the economy the way it is every little bit helps.

In an interview, the Ayuyu battalion commander, Cadet Lt. Col. Keisha Manglona, said: “JROTC is a program that teaches each cadet how to be a better citizen for our community and country. With this, we are always proud and happy to give back to our community to show our appreciation for their continuous support.”

“Christmas has always been known to be one of the merriest time of year. We hope that any contribution we have made lets families enjoy their holiday and allow them to look forward to a new year with more to bring,” she added.
