Police had already arrested an ex-convict woman who was allegedly engaged in trafficking methamphetamine or “ice” on Saipan.

The Department of Public Safety said police picked up the 33-year-old Remmy Leon Guerrero Noble on Friday night.

DPS Criminal Investigation Bureau chief Maj. Edward H. Manalili told the Saipan Tribune in a telephone interview that the CIB’s Special Investigation Section detectives served the arrest warrant to Noble.

Manalili said there was no report that the suspect resisted arrest.

Manalili said he had no details yet on how SIS detectives were able to locate Noble.

Manalili earlier said Superior Court Associate Judge David Wiseman issued on Wednesday an arrest warrant for Noble on charges of trafficking of controlled substance and possession of controlled substance.

Police sought media’s help to find Noble.

A few years ago, Noble was convicted in federal court and subsequently sentenced for “ice” charges.
