New loan center in Upper Tumon

HAGATNA, Guam—The Bank of Guam Loan Center–Upper Tumon has been established within the bank’s Upper Tumon Branch located at the East West Business Center.

Led by veteran Bank of Guam vice president Mike Naholowaa, the team members include Joseph Cruz, assistant vice president; Matthew C. Cruz, assistant vice president; and Aileen Denusta, credit officer. The Loan Team’s objectives include offering a complete range of loan and financial services products.

Naholowaa, who has been with the bank since 1973, has led the bank’s loan efforts in Guam and the CNMI, and has traveled extensively throughout the western Pacific for the Bank. Joe Cruz has been with the bank for five years, in corporate and marketing. Matt Cruz recently joined the Bank of Guam, having moved from Washington Mutual and Countrywide Home in Oregon. Aileen Denusta has been with the organization since 1991, having worked through various operations departments, and is a PAC/Credit Officer for the Bank.

“The re-establishment of a core loan team in the northern region of Guam evidences the Bank of Guam’s continuing confidence in the sustained recovery being experienced throughout the island,” according to Bill Leon Guerrero, executive vice president and chief operating officer. “We have placed an outstanding credit and marketing team to solidify our current presence and to expand through growing opportunities.”
