Live-fire training on Farallon, overflight over Saipan, Tinian

The Emergency Management Office, in conjunction with U.S. Naval Forces Marianas, said the U.S. military would be conducting live-fire training, target replacement, and aircraft overflight on the island of Farallon De Mendenilla, Tinian and Saipan.

The schedule dates and time are as follow:

Feb. 16-17, from 9am to 5pm, Live fire, FDM

Feb. 23-24, from 7am to 1pm, Target replacement, FDM

Feb. 24-25, from 1pm to 5pm, Aircraft overflight, FDM, Saipan and Tinian

Feb. 27-28, from 7am to 11:59pm, Live fire, FDM

March 1-5, from 7am to 11:59pm, Live fire, FDM

March 6-10, from 7am to 11:59pm, Live fire, FDM

March 11-13, from 7am to 11:59pm, Live fire, FDM

March 14-17, from 7am to 11:59pm, Live fire, FDM

The general location of these activities will be on the islands of Farallon De Mendenilla training area on a 10-nautical mile radius on all quadrants, Tinian and Saipan.

Due to these activities, Gov. Benigno R. Fitial is advising the public—especially fishermen, commercial pilots and marine tour operators—to take extra precautionary measures around these areas during the time and dates indicated.
