TDHC hosts ‘island-style’ poker tourney

Tinian Dynasty Hotel & Casino is inviting everyone to be part of their Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament “Island Style.” This two-day event will be held over Presidents’ Day weekend, Feb. 18-19, 2006.

Prizes at stake are:

* 1st Place: 40 percent of the total prize pool
* 2nd Place: 25 percent
* 3rd Place: 15 percent
* 4th Place: 10 percent
* 5th Place: 5 percent

There is an entry fee of $350 (includes $50 commission).

Registration will be held all day on Feb. 18, Saturday, until 6.45pm. There will be random seat allocations from 7pm.

Highlight of activities include:

* Cards in the Air at 8pm sharp
* Re-buys available for the first hour of play only – $300, no commission
* Tournament play ceases at approx.1am
* Cocktail-style dinner from 7pm on the main floor of the casino
* Live entertainment from 9pm
* Live tables open till late

On Feb. 19, Sunday, random seat allocations begin at 1pm. Tournament resumes at 2pm, while the “Bad Beat” tournament starts at 3pm. Award presentations will follow soon after. (PR)
