Asiana and Century tie up for a 3-day Seoul getaway

Saipan residents have a rare opportunity to see Seoul’s most splendid sights at an affordable price next month, with Century Travel and Asiana Airlines teaming up to offer a weekend getaway to South Korea’s bustling capital.
The Seoul, Korea Getaway is a three-day, two-night tour package scheduled for March 24 (Covenant Day) to March 26, 2006.
With the first day falling on a CNMI holiday, the trip is perfectly timed to provide families, friends, and independent travelers three full days of worry-free sightseeing and shopping.
In addition, the tour package comes easy on the pocket, at $610 per person on a twin-sharing basis. A round-trip ticket to Seoul alone could cost almost $500.
The Seoul Getaway includes not only airfare, but also hotel accommodation for two nights, daily breakfast, entrance fees for a city tour with lunch, fees for an English-speaking tour guide, and air-conditioned bus transfer between the airport and the hotel.
The half-day sightseeing tour includes a visit to Changkok Palace, Secret Garden, Chongyesa Temople, Insadong antique alley, and the center of Korean Buddhism, Jogyesa Temple. Tour participants will also have a chance to explore Changduk Palace. This imperial residence features the Biwon Garden, which was designated as a world heritage by UNESCO in 1997.
The sightseeing tour will take place on the first day of the trip, leaving travelers two whole days to see the city on their own or avail of optional tours, which come at extra but reasonable prices.
On March 25, the difficult choice for an optional tour is between the world-renowned Itaewon Shopping Street, or East Gate Market and the Korean Folk Village.
On March 26, tour participants can make the most of the last day by going on adventures at the Lotte World Amusement Park, the world’s largest indoor theme park according to the Guinness Book of World Records.
