Appreciation from the Colts Boys basketball team

This is extend our appreciation to the following for making the Tinian Elementary School Colts’ Team’s trip to Saipan on Jan. 20 and 21 possible.
To the Office of Sen. Jude U. Hofschneider for the hotel accommodation (with breakfast), to the Tinian Dynasty Hotel and Casino for reducing the ferry ticket fare tremendously, to the TES Parent-Teacher-Student Association for purchasing the ferry tickets, and, most especially, to the parents of the team members for their untiring support and understanding of our financial situation, who provided the funds for their children’s meals.
We at TES believe that the learning process does not end until we give our students the opportunity to apply them in their lives, whether it be in the arts, academics, or in athletic competitions.
Special appreciation to Mr. Melvin Monkeya and Mr. Joe Cruz, Jr., two individuals who donated their time to coach our children. Also to Ms. Jennifer San Nicolas, teacher and PE Committee chairperson for coordinating the whole trip.
To Mr. Rayphand, San Vicente School principal, for coordinating the tournament and for lending us your school van.
And last but not the least, to Education Commissioner Dr. Rita Inos for the refreshing drinks.
