TINIAN JUNIOR/SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS
The Tinian Junior/Senior High School is encouraging parents and/or guardians to volunteer and/or become members of the Parents Advisory Council. If interested, call school principal Florine Hofschneider at 237-6143 or 237-4161. There will be a PAC meeting on Jan. 17, 2006, at 3:30pm in the library.
School handbooks from previous years are still available for parents and/or guardians. Visit the office and get your copy as a lot of information are still applicable. Board policies and procedures are also available online. Log in at www.pss.cnmi.mp.
The entrance and exits of the high school have been changed. The entrance has been relocated to the street going to the public cemetery. Exit will be the street between Hungshun and Manglona’s residence.

Students, beginning 3rd. quarter, Home Room will be your first period teacher everyday. Day B is still your first period teacher from 8:00-8:15. Attendance will be taken, the bulletin will be read, and virtues will be discussed. 1st and 5th periods will begin at 8:20am.

ENGLISH PLACEMENT TESTS SET
Following is the schedule of the upcoming English Placement Tests at the Northern Marianas College:
Summer Semester 2006
Wednesday April 5, 2006 Room D-1 1pm-4pm
Friday April 7, 2006 Room D-1 5pm0-8pm
Things to bring: A valid photo ID and pencils.
There is a $25 fee for the English Placement Test that must be paid in advance at NMC’s Finance Office (M-F, 9am – 4pm). Students will not be admitted to the testing room without proof of payment: a receipt for either the placement test fee or the NMC application fee. This $25 fee is applicable to the NMC application for all students.
