School bus rules and safety tips
1. Leave home early enough to arrive at your school bus station on time (6:15am)
2. Wait for your school bus in a safe place and remain there quietly. Stay well off the roadway.
3. Enter your school bus in an orderly manner and take your seat. Remain quiet.
4. Follow all instructions of your school bus driver. He is in charge at all times.
5. Remain seated at all times while your school bus is in motion.
6. Help to keep your school bus clean and in good condition.
7. You and your parents are responsible to pay for damages or destruction you make to the bus or to the property of others.
8. Keep your head, arms and other parts of the your body inside your school bus at all times.
9. Be courteous to your school bus driver, conductor and fellow passengers.
10. Be alert for traffic when leaving school bus.
11. Do not carry tools or equipment to or from school unless turned over to the school bus driver to be returned when disembarking.
12. Learn emergency drill procedures and follow them at all times.
13. Do not eat, drink, or chew gum while inside your school bus.
14. Turn over instruments, such as radio, cassette recorder, guitar, ukulele etc to the school bus driver upon entering the bus and to be returned when disembarking.
15. Place books, lunches, purses and other belongings directly under your seat.
16. No crossing behind the bus at all times.
17. No chewing of betel nut inside the school bus.
18. No spitting inside the bus or out the window.
19. No smoking inside the school bus.
20. No fighting inside the school bus.
