The Attorney General’s Office yesterday charged a businessman with unlawfully employing at least six nonresident workers.

The AGO said 51-year-old William Wagan employed at least six aliens last Oct. 6 without lawful documentation.

Assistant attorney general Ian Catlett lodged six counts of employment of illegal aliens against Wagan in a criminal information he filed with the Superior Court.

Catlett said the aliens were Huang Ming Qing, Wang Li Jiang, Liu Dong Fan, Gao Li Yin, Li Zhi Yang, and Li Zhi Hui.
