ARC says its thanks
The NMI Chapter of the Red Cross extended its thanks to its donors, especially its ticket buyers, for making this year’s fundraising event “a great success.”
The NMI Chapter said it exceeded its fundrasing goals and will continue to provide services and build capacity to respond to disasters here in the NMI and beyond.
“Every year our community responds with tremendous generosity” said executive director John Hirsh. “With all the natural disasters we see here locally and now the horrifying devastation of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, our community trusts the Red Cross and believes in our mission of helping people prevent, prepare for and respond to disasters.”
The Red Cross’ special thanks go out to its “Chief Taga” and “Chair” and “Friends” level donors this year: Bank of Guam, Microl Corp., Tan Holdings Corp., Atalanta Sosnoff, DFS Saipan Ltd., Hyatt Regency Hotel Group, Power99/The Rock, Northwest Airlines, Continental Airlines, Verizon, McDonald’s of Saipan, and Bank of Hawaii.
“We would also like to say thanks to the many other individuals and companies that always make the Club 200 a memorable evening,” Hirsh said.
