FRG reunion set
The Echo Company 100th Battalion 442nd Infantry Family Readiness Group (FRG) would like to inform all families of our soldiers that on Sunday, Oct. 9, there will be a Reunion and Reintegration Training at the Army Reserve Center in Puerto Rico, Saipan, from 8am to 3:45pm.

Fundraising for student groups at GIG
Student organizations from the different high schools on Saipan will have the opportunity to raise funds for their schools projects through the weekly event being organized by the island’s premier dance club, GIG Discothèque.
The teen disco titled, TEEN JAM, is an avenue for the kids to show their talents like rapping and dancing. Each week elimination rounds for the solo free style dance contest is in progress and the weekly winner will qualify for the grand finals this December. Next week, the Just Say No To Drugs rap contest kicks off.
In order to raise funds, student clubs/organizations will sell tickets to the weekly teen disco from 5:30pm to 9pm every Saturday at GIG. For every ticket sold, the organization will get a percentage of the proceeds for their school projects.
Advisers of school organizations may contact GIG manager Fred Santos at 234-5050 during office hours. TEEN JAM is co-presented by Coca-Cola. (PR)

Meeting on unintended hooking of seabirds rescheduled
The Oct. 6, 2005 meeting of the Western Pacific Regional Fishery Management Council to consider modifying proposed measures to reduce the unintended hooking of seabirds by U.S. longline fishing vessels based in Hawaii has been rescheduled to Nov. 1, 2005.

Santa Remedios Fiesta on Oct. 9
Santa Remedios Parish pastor, Fr. Nonoy E. Recaido, Jr., the Parish Pastoral Council, and the parishioners of Sta. Remedios Parish in Tanapag would like to invite everybody to join them in celebrating their patronal fiesta on Sunday, Oct. 9, 2:30pm.
A novena has been scheduled at 2pm, followed by a Holy Mass at 2:30pm. A procession would be held after the Mass, with the festivities concluding with a dinner in Tanapag. (PR)
