Accountants Fun Day on Oct. 23
In this fast-paced world where every individual is left to fend for him- or herself, it is heartwarming to see any effort that fosters unity. Such is the intent of “Mini-Olympic Fun Day,” the latest program of Marianas Institute of CPAs and Accountants, or MIFICPA.
This is to be held on Oct. 23, a Sunday, from 7:30am to 7:30pm at CMS Sports Center, Gaulo Rai.
MIFICPA’s new batch of officers want to be remembered that their initial action focused on uniting all Filipino accountants in the CNMI. To achieve this end, they are inviting everyone, including non-members to attend the event.
“The message is, if you are an accountant and a Filipino then you are very much welcome to join the fun,” the group said.
A whole day of well planned sports competitions plus parlor games are in store for everyone, all for free. The participants will be divided into teams and will play according to their sports preferences—basketball, volleyball, tennis, and the latest Olympic sports addition, badminton.
Special prizes will be awarded at the end of the day. Participants need not worry about what to bring or what to wear because T-shirts and special hot lunch will be provided at a reasonable price. Flyers and registration forms have been sent to various offices in CNMI.
To register in a jiffy, visit the MIFICPA’s homepage: http://www.mificpa.org/. Registration starts today.
