Water problems—7th installment
To everyone at CUC:
This is the first year in history that we have had serious water problems in the rainy season. There has been some pressure, but not enough to get [water] into our storage tank. The result is that most, if not all homes in our area get good water except us! The reason has been told to you many times over the past seven or eight years. The reason is that we are at the top or highest elevation on this water line route. There is enough pressure to get over the top and down to the rich lawyers to fill up their tanks. There has been plenty of rain this season. There is no excuse why you cannot provide us with enough water for our basic needs. We need to wash our clothes and dishes, flush our toilet, and wash our bodies. We do not have swimming pools, like some of our neighbors.
The booster pump next to the Magellan Club may be defective, or not turned on, which would result in low pressure. In that case, we probably could be supplied with enough water for our basic needs if CUC closed certain main line valves for one or two hours per day, like they used to do during some of the dry spells in years past. In past correspondence, I have given you detailed drawings showing which valves to close. You have not been doing this, in spite of the fact that my wife has been calling the trouble desk every day for months.
Do you care? It does not appear so.
Please advise ASAP.
