AGO WANTS TO SEND MAN TO PRISON

The Attorney General’s Office asked the Superior Court Friday to revoke the probation of a man who was convicted of assault charges in 1999.

The AGO said 31-year-old Joseph Paul M. Satur violated the conditions of his probation by failing to report to the Probation Office twice monthly beginning Dec. 5, 2003, among other grounds.

The AGO also said Satur failed to complete 300 hours of community service, seek and obtain full-time employment upon release from custody, and report to his first appointment with the Community Guidance Center.

The court had earlier convicted Satur after the defendant pleaded guilty to assault and battery and assault with a dangerous weapon sometime in September 1999.

In that case, the court sentenced Satur to 10 years imprisonment, but it partially suspended the prison term, except for eight months. As part of its sentence, the court placed Satur under 10 years of probation. (John Ravelo)

Dela Rosa allegedly consumed $17.95-worth of food and beer at the Ysabel’s Restaurant and Bar in San Jose last Aug. 23.

Chief prosecutor Jeffrey Moots said Dela Rosa left the restaurant without paying for his bill. (John Ravelo)

Last Aug. 6, Kosam allegedly punched the woman and kicked her while lying on the ground, after hitting the victim with a box of soap.
