RGA Best Ball this Saturday

The Refalu-wasch Golf Association would be holding its annual Best Ball Tournament on Saturday, Sept. 17, at the Laolao Bay Golf Resort’s west course.
The entry fee for the event is $50 per player and the round will have an 11am check-in and 12pm tee-off.
Last Sept. 3 at the Coral Ocean Point resort golf course, Ben Duenas was named RGA Ace of the Month for September after no duffer from RGA was able to eclipse the net 63 he shot on Aug. 28 at the Kingfisher Golf Links.
The lowest score garnered by the group that played at COP two Sundays ago were the net 69s submitted by both John Mettao and Sasaki Oliver.
Mettao, however, grabbed solo second after he nipped Oliver in the front nine-scorecard tiebreak, 32-34. Closest to the pin went to Joe Saures on hole No. 3 and Louie Tilipao on hole No. 4.
Wabol also reiterated RGA’s requirements for its yearend Club Championship. He said monthly champions must play in at least six ace tournaments or cede their slots in the yearend bash to their runners-up.
